Help connecting to redirected devices

I am just starting to trial USB for RDP. I have the workstation setup, which identifies USB devices and I can redirect these.

On the server, the devices show up as redirected. When I connected the scanner, it ran the install wizard for it.

How do I use these? (I have a HP camera and a Canon Scanner redirected). They do not show up in Scanners and Cameras. They do not show up in MS Word if you try to insert from scanner/camera.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Dear Rob,
Please make sure that USB device drivers are installed on Terminal Server side. Also please check if device can work on server side being plugged to it locally.
By the way, do you see redirected USB devices in the Device Manager on terminal server side?

Thanks!
